Most of our clients come to us with one purpose: they want to communicate a specific message to a specific audience. We start with listening and understanding. Then, we characterize the audience and map out how they will receive the information. Last, we organize and fine tune the messaging.
“Video content is the preferred method for marketing and communication. Sometimes logistics don’t allow filming to take place or wouldn’t be the most cost-effective solution. This is when we recommend our video animation services. Animation is a great solution to communicate complex information.” – Ryan Hayman
What comes to mind when you hear the word animation? Disney, Pixar, or kids’ television? There’s a good reason these gargantuan companies are so successful: everyone likes to be entertained, and their animation unleashes the scope of your imagination.
“Animation videos bolster your message and provide a great solution when logistics are tricky.” – Alex Glass: Motion Graphics Artist and Videographer @ Hayman Studio.

Like all projects at the Studio, our animation services are customized for each client. We don’t use stock online templates or assets, and we don’t try to solve your problem by fitting a round peg into a square hole. We craft the perfect message and create custom illustrated graphics to align perfectly with your message, brand, and visual identity.
There are a few ways we integrate animation into video productions:
-
- Integrate moving text, iconography, and graphics into video footage to highlight key instructions or features of a product or service line. This method draws attention to the key information you want the audience to understand.
Check out this unpacking video we created for Ingersoll Rand. Our goal was to help their customers understand how to unpack and install their new ARO pump product. The video is a great first impression of Ingersoll Rand’s client experience, and it saves the Ingersoll Rand team time and money because they don’t have to field client questions about unpacking.
We added animation to help identify key components and sections of the unpacking process:
No sound, no problem. According to Sprout Social, 85% of Facebook users watch video content without the sound turned on. So what does the solution look like when you can’t audibly communicate with your target audience? Animated text and graphics to the rescue!
We teamed up with RKL CPA to create this marketing video. It highlights their “Next Level” service lines, and it doesn’t require sound to effectively communicate the message. Check it out here, with or without sound:

- When communication is complex or there is a lot of information to articulate, we often lean on animation. It allows our team of writers to work with the client and craft the perfect script. With a script in hand, our designers illustrate custom graphics. Once the illustrations are complete and the client approves the video storyboard, our team of animators gets to work. They use the illustrated assets and the recorded script to lay out the animation. The end result is a video that succinctly communicates the message. The combo of the script writing and the custom illustrated graphics that align with the script ensure that viewers have a great experience AND they retain the messaging.
Our client Penn State University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, has a complex mission. We helped them communicate it here:
The Hayman Team also helped the PaTH To Health Network communicate when telehealth medicine is the best choice for patients and providers:
There are so many ways our animation services can help you attract attention and communicate effectively:
- moving text
- motion graphics
- character development
- 2D modeling
Here’s an example of how we helped local rebar equipment manufacturer KRB. They came to elevate and enhance the way their sales team communicates their warehouse process flow – a huge selling point for KRB systems. As it was, the sales team had to explain a complicated process with the aid of a dated PowerPoint slideshow.
Our lead animator, Alex, developed a solution: a video that brought KRB’s 2D drawings to life. The new online warehouse process model demonstrates a truck pulling into the factory and illustrates the flow of rebar product through the factory. Now the sales team has an amazingly powerful tool that levels up their communication and helps KRB’s clients better understand the value proposition. It all leads to more sales of the system.
If you’re after eye-catching, attention-grabbing content that creatively and directly communicates a difficult process, animation is the answer. When graphics are synchronized with audio or a voice-over, they become a versatile storytelling vessel. When your message is difficult to communicate with actors or staff, animation can paint the picture. Whether you use it to supplement existing video footage or rely on it solely for storytelling, animation will be an important asset in your marketing toolkit.
