Here is Part 2 of our favorite photographs of 2013. July-December
This photo was taken in July for Tooling Dynamics, located in York, PA. Here is another example of a highly reflective metal object that is challenging to shoot. We pride ourselves in this type of photography and through the years have learned exactly how to light and shoot these surfaces without glaring hot spots.
In August, Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate spent a week in the studio getting photography done for their 2014 Peter’s Chocolate calendar. Recipes for each of these confections can be found in the calendar or the Peter’s Chocolate website.
Our great client, Landmark Homes in Ephrata, PA, builds amazing homes. This September twilight photograph showcases one of them. We love architectural photography, and the opportunity to see the amazing new homes and buildings being built all over Central Pennsylvania.
Back to more food photography…here we have Loxley’s Asian Noodle and Seafood dish. Much like Ryan couldn’t wait to get his hands on the Waffle Club from Part 1, Gary’s mouth was watering while this dish was in front of the camera. Loxley’s is located in the Heritage Hotel – Lancaster.
In November we did photography for the York County Heritage Trust’s fundraiser, Tin Pan Tuesday. We took over the Commonwealth Room at the Yorktowne Hotel one afternoon and had an absolute blast creating this photo.
December had us doing some photography for the York Builder’s Association. Here, the Executive Chef at Victor’s Italian Restaurant, George Sheffer, makes things exciting while making dinner in a beautiful home in Wyndham Hills.
013 was a great year at the studio. We got to see some amazing things, travel to 8 different states, shot north of the border in Canada, shared countless photo shoots with our clients, and create images for all types of industries, both new and old. Thank you to everyone that invested in their image last year, we’re looking forward to what 2014 has in store…see you there!
