Do you know the difference between a mutual fund and a managed risk mutual fund? Yeah, we didn’t either, until we started working with Matt Taylor of Taylor Retirement Services.
One of our favorite kind of projects here at Hayman Studio is the kind that help people, and in the case of Taylor Retirement Services, that’s exactly what Matt Taylor wanted: a platform to help people understand the basic principles of money, finance, investing, taxes, and insurance. He saw an opportunity to provide information for people going into and through retirement in a way that takes the sting out of some of those more difficult conversations.
Taylor Retirement Services is a small firm of financial advisors and professionals with a mission to help people grow and protect their assets as they prepare for retirement.
Hayman Studio filmed, created graphics, and provided animation for a series of short, educational videos of Matt, who explains everything from the rules about giving and gifting to long-term care crisis planning (and everything in between). We wrote the YouTube descriptions for each video, including smart, organic SEO semantics in the text. (And we learned A LOT in the process about what we should be doing with our money now so that we can be secure later on.)
In addition to producing Matt’s videos, we also wanted to help him promote them so that more people could access his helpful information. We launched an ongoing social media campaign to drive traffic to his YouTube channel, to support his weekly radio show, The Financial Symphony, and to create an authentic, compelling social presence to support his team. We built a unique social media strategy that used custom social assets and allowed us to automate social posts.
