This company has been a family-run business for 3 generations, with the parent company’s origination just after the second world war in Denmark. The current CEO, Allan Klinge, moved to York with his parents in 1986 to manage the York facility known as Klinge Corporation. He took over the company reins in 2017 from his father, Henrik Klinge.
Klinge provides transport refrigerator and freezer container units for various industries, including chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, food processing, and military. There is no doubt they have cornered their market with a client list that includes the Australian and Swedish Defense Forces, as well as many well-known pharma companies and food producers.
