A drone shot of the Ox Industries factory and across the fields

History of Halltown.

Video

Ox Industries has several paper mills across the country, but none of them stack up to the 150-year-old papermill in Halltown, West Virginia.

In 1869 a grist mill was purchased by the Eyster family and converted into a straw board mill that made a paperboard like product for hat boxes. In 2007 the Halltown mill was purchased by Ox Industries, an acquisition that allowed the company to become vertically integrated by providing a 100% recycled paperboard product to all Ox manufacturing facilities.

If you ask Ryan, he will tell you the Halltown video is one of his favorite videos the Studio has ever produced.  It features a mix of historical documents, animation, newly filmed footage, old photographs, and great storytelling by the perfect voiceover artist for this project.

Hayman Creative Studio has been an incredible partner for Ox Industries, delivering high-quality photography and videography for our marketing, culture initiatives, and website. Their creativity and attention to detail turned our manufacturing operations into visually compelling content that perfectly aligns with our brand. They’re professional, innovative, and a lot of fun to work with. Highly recommend them for any visual content needs!
