“I want to record real stories about patients living with hypertension and then use those videos to create awareness and change in the African American population of Harrisburg.”
We called it High Blood Pressure Stories and ran with it.
In the beginning, the project was a video series—nine compelling stories in which people shared their experience with hypertension. By mid-project, Dr. Cuffee and our team knew it was something bigger — Dr. Cuffee needed a plan to expand the impact of these stories paired with high blood pressure research, and she needed a platform that could grow.
The end result – www.hbpstories.com — set HBP Stories up for continued storytelling growth. Here the information can be shared, viewed, and ultimately educate multiple large audiences about the signs and risks of high blood pressure.
