REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health) is a national program administered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to reduce racial and ethnic health disparities. REACH Central PA, administered by the Penn State College of Medicine, is one of 50 REACH organizations nationwide. Their work is primarily in service of promoting healthy lifestyles and reducing health disparities among priority populations through stronger community-clinical linkages.

We supported Central PA REACH to develop a community-wide campaign to promote influenza vaccinations, to include everything from billboard design and deployment to a full social media toolkit, complete with video, image, and copy assets.

Results

  • Social media reach: 1,024,381 people engaged
  • Digital and print advertisements reach: 50k+ in 8 counties
  • 1,236 people vaccinated
  • 12 educational materials created and distributed to over 500 local community members
  • 78 culturally-appropriate communication products created and delivered to community partners
