Bringing the Angelica Creek Trail to Life.
Berks Nature in Reading, PA, had a clear goal: help the community see not just where the Angelica Creek Trail is today, but where it’s headed next. They needed a visual story that oriented viewers, highlighted existing assets, and made future trail development feel tangible and exciting.
Enter the Hayman video team.
The Hayman team partnered with Berks Nature to create an immersive, animated video that follows the trail from its current trailhead toward the planned expansion. By guiding viewers along the route, the video establishes natural flow while calling out key landmarks that help ground the experience, like the Angelica Creek Trailhead’s connection to the Schuylkill River Trail, the Canoe Launch tucked along the river, and Berks Nature’s Teaching Garden.
As the journey continues, we highlight community landmarks that reinforce the trail’s impact, including The Nature Place and Nature Play Zone, nearby schools, recreation centers, and Alvernia University’s Eco House. Strategic on-screen notes orient viewers to what they’re seeing – and what’s coming – such as a future crosswalk installation and the next phase of trail development planned within the tree corridor.
The final video doesn’t just document a trail. It shows momentum. It helps residents, partners, and funders visualize progress, understand context, and imagine what’s possible as Berks Nature continues to connect people to nature.
